Thank you for your interest in Junior League of Boca Raton!
The Junior League of Boca Raton is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. We reach out to women of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate a commitment to volunteerism. The following outline demonstrates requirements for a new member.
Provisional members complete a comprehensive training series that allows them to learn about our League structure and programs, as well as experience some of our community programs first-hand. The Provisional series includes advisor small group meetings, educational courses, a bus tour of community partners, working on a community/fundraiser project, and attending League functions such as general membership meetings.
Meeting Commitments
- Attend monthly Provisional Education Sessions held the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 6:30 – 9:00 P.M.
- Attend monthly General Membership Meetings held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.
- Participate in Super Saturday – Visit past and present community projects with your Provisional Class one Saturday in October. Specific date to be determined.
Annual Volunteer Commitments
- Volunteer a minimum of 6 hours with our Community Projects.
- Volunteer a minimum of 4 hours to a JLBR Fundraiser.
- Participate in hands-on Provisional Project throughout new member year.
Financial Commitments for Provisional Members
- Application Fee: $50
- Annual Dues: $167
- Financial Commitment to a JLBR Fundraiser: $100
