Prospective new members, family and friends are invited to join Actives and Sustainers
Two days and nights of Eau-mazing experiences are in store for the Junior League of Boca Raton and their guests when Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa hosts the “Potential of Women” event at the resort on May 20th and 21st.
Guests can select a la carte events they wish to experience with 10% of all proceeds being donated to the Junior League of Boca Raton. Events include: staying at the resort one or two nights, extensive spa treatments and/or a private dinner featuring guest speakers Eva H. Hill, a humanitarian and CEO of Britannia Pacific Properties, Inc. and Chef Manlee Siu, Chef de Cuisine of Angle.
To kick off the JLBR Eau-mazing Weekend, a welcome cocktail party at the new Breeze Ocean Kitchen restaurant, located right on the ocean is planned for Friday evening from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm and is complimentary for all those who have purchased either a room, spa service or seat at the private dinner.
For those who would like to attend the cocktail party only, a donation of $25 to the Junior League of Boca Raton is required and includes one drink ticket and light bites. The private dinner is being held on Friday from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Tickets are $125 per person and include 2 glasses of wine and a three course dinner menu designed and presented by Chef Manlee Siu, Chef de Cuisine of Angle, the resort’s signature restaurant. Unlike most chefs on the restaurant scene today, Siu didn’t realize her passion for cooking until later in life – when she spent ten years, after college, working in her family’s restaurant business.
In addition, guests will have the opportunity to hear from special guest speaker Eva H. Hill, CEO of Britannia Pacific Properties, Inc., who is responsible for the ownership and the operation at the resort. Hill is a humanitarian who has encouraged each of Eau’s hoteliers to get involved in the community to help others, Hill created the charitable event “Artists for Others” as an annual fundraising event at Eau, with proceeds benefiting child victims of sex trafficking in Cambodia, as well as Children’s Home Society, Holy Ground Shelter for Homeless and Habitat for Humanity in Palm Beach County. She previously has worked with WEAVE (Women Escaping a Violent Environment) and Sophia’s Heart (a homeless shelter for families) and is currently involved with 3 Strands Global, a non-profit organization established to combat human trafficking through employment, education and engagement initiatives.
