The Junior League of Boca Raton is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively education and charitable. We reach out to women of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate a commitment to volunteerism. The following outline demonstrates requirements for a new member.
Meeting Commitments
Attend monthly Provisional Education Sessions held the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 6:30 – 9:00 P.M.
Attend monthly General Membership Meetings held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.
Participate in Super Saturday – Visit past and present community projects with Provisional Class one Saturday in October. Specific date to be determined.
Annual Volunteer Commitments
Volunteer a minimum of 6 hours with our Community Projects.
Volunteer a minimum of 4 hours to a JLBR Fundraiser.
Participate in hands-on Provisional Project throughout new member year.
Financial Commitments for Provisional Members
Application Fee: $50
Annual Dues: $167
Financial Commitment to a JLBR Fundraiser: $100
