Event Details

The Woman Volunteer of the Year Luncheon is celebrating its 25th year in honoring women volunteers in our community who have excelled for their non-profit organizations. The luncheon and fashion show is held in the fall each year at the Boca Raton Resort & Club. Historically this event raises over $150,000 each year, benefiting the programs and projects of the Junior League of Boca Raton.

This years event chair is Holly Zoley Meehan, and the Honorary Chair is Deanna Wheeler.

The 2011 Woman Volunteer of Year honored 22 volunteers nominated by their organizations for their inspirational leadership and invaluable contributions. The 2011 recipient of the Woman Volunteer of the Year was Lu-Lu Thomas from the Boca Raton Historical Society.

The 2012 event will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2012 and will feature a fashion show by Neiman Marcus.  We would like to thank our sponsors including our award sponsor, Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation.
