COVID 19: HOW TO HELP & RESOURCES

PRESIDENT’S NOTE

The COVID-19 situation around the world is evolving at a fast pace. The JLBR has closed our headquarters, the Vegso Community Resource Center and moved our operations and meetings to virtual.  The Mission of The Junior League does not waver.  During these times of crisis, we see empowered female Leaders step up, inspire each other and lead our communities with grace, compassion and integrity.

One of our core values as an organization is our belief that lasting societal change is achieved through collaboration. We know that we go farther together. We ask all of our members and community partners to take the CDC, WHO, state and local updates seriously and set the example for our neighbors. You may not be at high risk, but someone you interact with indirectly in public may live in a high-risk household.

The health and safety of the staff, members, and partners of the JLBR community are our highest priorities.  Although we are making adjustments in real time as the COVID-19 situation evolves, we remain steadfast in our commitment to our community.

We continue to monitor and follow the public health recommendations and in light of recent recommendations we have suspended or postponed all events until further notice.

Together, we got this.

HELP & RESOURCES

The Junior League of Boca Raton recognizes the unprecedented impact that COVID-19 is having on our community. We are working to compile a master list of all the ways that you can help your neighbors while protecting yourself and others from the spread COVID-19. Please continue to follow the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and World Health Organization.

If there are additional places in South Palm Beach or Northern Broward Counties who need support during this time or if you see anything on this page that should be edited, please email all information to communications@jlbr.org.
